A Guardian of Ancestral Wisdom and Fatherly Spirit
Hernan Colque is a Quechua native and a devoted facilitator of Wachuma (San Pedro) ceremonies, deeply rooted in the sacred traditions of the Andes. Born and raised in Viacha, one of the many vibrant communities of Pisac, Hernan carries with him the ancient wisdom passed down through generations, blending tradition with a deep connection to Pachamama (Mother Earth).
As a father of four children, Hernan has spent his life nurturing not only his family but also those who come to seek healing and transformation through the sacred plant medicine of Wachuma. His dedication to preserving and sharing the profound teachings of his ancestors has shaped his path as a guide, allowing him to offer others a safe and sacred space for inner exploration and growth.
For over 30 years, Hernan has been guiding individuals on their personal journeys of healing and self-discovery, helping them reconnect with nature and find harmony within themselves. His ceremonies are held in the stunning landscapes of the Sacred Valley, offering a unique opportunity to experience the powerful yet gentle spirit of Wachuma.

We are based in Pisac, a vibrant town in the Sacred Valley, where we host ceremonies and offer peaceful accommodations at Wayna Wasi Hotel. For a deeper immersion, our multi-day retreats are held in Viacha, a serene community high above Pisac. Here, participants engage with local traditions and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains—ideal for a profound Huachuma experience.
